Before joining Fusion, I completed a dual degree in Business Administration and Medical Sciences at the Richard Ivey School of Business and Western University. The phrase that resonated with me the most when I started at Fusion is “think like a scientist, act like an artist”. Thinking like a scientist refers to developing a hypothesis and crunching the numbers in different ways until you can get to the answer, relating back to the technical skills I developed from my science degree. Meanwhile, my business degree provided me the skills and insight to act like an artist – to be able to see the bigger picture and build a story around data. I get to both of these things at Fusions, as you take ownership of a project from start to finish, starting on your very first day! At Fusion, you get the chance to hone both your technical skills and soft skills amongst a talented and fun group of people.
